Friday 18th of February 2011
According to industry website PropertyPortalWatch.com Italian Property buyers have made the most enquiries ever at Italian Property Portal www.Casa.it . The website also reports that buyers are increasingly turning to Smartphones and Ipads to access property data
casa.it CEO Daniel Mancini says 54 percent of Italian home hunters now start their search online, and that social media and mobile search options are also gaining ground.
“In January alone, as many as 100,000 users reviewed over 300,000 ads via their smartphones or mobile phones,” Mancini says of casa.it’s mobile website. “38 percent of these logged on with their iPhone and 32 percent with their iPad.”
Mancini adds that these visitors to the casa.it mobile website translated into 5,000 qualified contacts forwarded to the portal’s partner agencies.
casa.it’s latest move has been to start promoting through an online video campaign. The campaign’s most popular video so far can be viewed below
Meanwhile the property industry faces the threat of further shocks from stressed countries such as Italy,
“The sharpest wake-up call in 2011 will be felt in the secondary, or "non-prime", property market, where many believe the real hangover from the bursting of the property bubble in 2008 has not yet set in, it added.”
It seems the worst is not over but buyers are still out there seeking Italian Property a positive sign for Italian Real Estate. Savvy international property investors all know that profits are not only made on the sale of property but right at the beginning with a sound purchase. Today it seems we are in the realms of a strong buyers market with eager sellers accepting lower offers.
